Easily Replicate Sustain Dane's Successful Rain Barrel Program in Your Community
The RainReserve
TM Community Rain Barrel Program is a sister project to Sustain Dane's highly successful Dane County-based rain barrel initiative. Sustain Dane has compiled our years of experience and lessons learned in distributing over 1200 kits and systems, as well as our next generation rain barrel technology into a program that other organizations can easily duplicate in their own communities, either as a one-time event, or as an on-going program.
Who Should Participate in the RainReserveTM Community Rain Barrel Program?
The RainReserve
TM Community Rain Barrel Program is designed with not-for-profits, local governmental bodies, and other service organizations in mind. While the goals of the Community Rain Barrel Program can be varied, this program might be right for your organization if you are interested in:
- Having a positive impact on the environment by reducing stormwater runoff and preserving the aquifer
- Building community awareness of water conservation and water quality issues
- Creating a revenue stream to support environmental efforts
- Increasing visibility for your organization and its mission or are interested in building community around a collective sustainability action
How the RainReserveTM Community Rain Barrel Program Works
Sustain Dane works closely with your organization to share our experiences in marketing, sales, logistics, and volunteer training (if applicable) so that a successful rain barrel program can be implemented in your community with minimal effort. We help you identify a local supplier of plastic barrels and provide our patent-pending RainReserve
TM Rain Barrel Kit at a discounted cost, which your organization or volunteers then distribute in your community.
We would welcome the opportunity to talk with you further about bringing the RainReserve
TM program to your community. Please call us at (608)316-6844 or email rainbarrel@sustaindane.org for additional information.
