Volunteers select the proper placement of a rain barrel
|
Read below to find out more about this great volunteer opportunity! You
need not have prior experience with rain barrel installations (or even be particularly handy with tools, for that matter) to participate in a rain barrel installation--all necessary training will be provided the morning of installation days. Additionally, every crew will have at least one person trained in the installation of rain barrels. Arrangements can be made so you can work on the same crew as a preferred buddy: spouse, friend, family member, co-worker, etc.
Rain barrel installations typically take place on weekday afternoons or Saturdays. The crew meets at a central location, disperses into crews for rain barrel installations, and concludes after installing barrels for a few hours.
