Volunteers meet on the sunny morning of a rain barrel installation day

One of the most unique aspects of the Rain Barrel Program is the contribution made by community volunteers. The program arose from the efforts of a group of motivated volunteers, the unique diverter design was developed by volunteers, and volunteers had a part in many of the rain barrel installations. In short, volunteer contributions have been absolutely essential to the success of the Rain Barrel Program.
